And if you should count the favours of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Reminder
BEWARE OF PRIDE: While you may be praying all the daily prayers, reading the Qur’an, following the Islamic guidance in regards to looks [i.e Brothers growing beard & Sisters wearing niqab/hijab, etc], but do not fall into the trap of looking down upon other Muslims who are not fully practicing yet. Let us remember the following: “No one who has an atom’s- weight of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise” [Muslim 91]
There is no power or strength except through Allah ♥

Istighfaar for Parents
Do Istighfaar on behalf of your deceased parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Ask Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) to forgive them their sins and keep them in comfort and happiness. How many are the wishes they must have had for you and how many prayers and Duas must they have prayed for your well-being. We should be of those who appreciate and return favours.
Tawwakul.
Trust that Allah will do what’s best for you.
Sincerity will get you places.
Imam Ahmad was asked: What is the distance between us and the Throne of the Most Merciful? He replied: “It is the distance of a sincere cry from a sincere heart.

Tonight is just one of those nights where I feel compelled to say Alhumdulillah for everything; the good & the bad. Even in the fleeting moments where things are seemingly not going well, I trust that Allah knows what is best for me.
Ya Allah, at the end of the day, when all has been said & done, I only have You to turn to.
I should think like this more often -sigh-
