NY MTA fairs are going up. Starting tomorrow a bus/train ride will cost $2.50. Then, from what I understand, some time in 2011 the fair will stay $2.50, but you can’t refill your card, you have to buy a new one when it runs out and each new card will cost $1.00. Lovely.
